Operation Military Kids is the U.S. Army’s collaborative effort with America’s communities to support the children and youth impacted by deployment. April is the month of the Military Child and Tuesday, April 15th is Purple Up! For Military Kids Day. This year marks Hawaii’s 3rd year participating in Purple Up!
The Student Council and Video Club are teaming up to support our military friends and classmates by recognizing the contributions and sacrifices that they make as their parents serve our nation. Ms. Minello and her Video Club members will be creating a special Military Kids newscast to be shown in April which will include on camera interviews of our students.
Let’s show our support for the military kids on Tuesday, April 15th by wearing purple and recognizing their efforts in many special ways!
