Aloha Elvis Scott students and staff my name is Leo who your student council president I am here with my fellow Spirit Council officers to welcome you all back for the 2023 to 2024 school year after last year's new and exciting events with the school store movie night I do love her garden we are so excited for the school year will bring you know you're to keep office got a positive school zone we need everyone's help from kids The Gardener's to 6th grade students we must always remember to choose love Siri will be focusing on Courage gratitude forgiveness and compassion in action for example if someone is being bullied it takes courage to tell the teacher and to become that person's friend is choosing a heart of thankfulness look around and reflect on what you are grateful for friends family your teachers and lunch forgiveness is a choice to stop feeling angry and resentful when someone hurts you and choosing to let go and grow some people say sorry but some do not no matter what we must choose to forgive compassion and action is understanding how others might feel and take action to help you can show compassion by inviting the New Stanton to play or even by just saying hello to someone who looks always remember to speak kind words only your words are powerful this is how we choose love will be learning a lot more about each of these areas fiscal year remember we need everyone's help to make our Scott a safe and even better place for all students to learn in 2023 to 2024 school year
