4/8/24 - Week 32
Aloha Room 5 Families!
Happy Lunar Eclipse! It is now Week 32 and we have a busy week ahead! Students are really working hard with our small group helper, Mr. Kai, to support with learning all 40 of their High Frequency words. Students who know all 40 will move on to learning the 1st grade words. Please support us by reading every night, practicing writing sight words, and practicing spelling sight words.
3rd Quarter Report Cards and iReady Growth Monitoring Results will be sent home in the student’s binder on Tuesday, April 9. Friday April 12, Our school will be hosting a STEM Literature Night for our families. See attachment.

REMINDERS:
- Report Cards and Student binders go home on Tues., Apr. 9. Please review, sign, and return as soon as possible.
- We have PE on Tues., Apr. 9. Please bring a bottle of water, protective clothing, (students will be out in the sun) and closed toed shoes.
- Kindergarten Field Day is Weds., Apr. 10.
- Library will be on Fri., Apr. 12. Please Return books before then.
- Fri., Apr. 12. is STEM Literature Night.
- Display the pink pick-up sign on your dashboard at pick up to support us in getting your child home safely.
- Weekly Packets will stay in the Take-Home folder and will be completed when students have not finished the assignment on the assigned day.
- Check Take-Home Folder Daily and remove important papers from the folder.
- Monthly Challenge sheet is optional, it is an extension of your child's learning.
- Make sure your child has sufficient funds in their meal account. Notifications and receipts will be administered as a reminder.
