4/15/24 - Week 33

Aloha Room 5 Families!

I want to start off this week by saying thank you for joining in on our STEM night on Friday.  Students who participated received a free book and had a lot of fun building their boats.  This was a great introduction to our fairytale/engineering unit coming up in a few weeks.

Last week was pretty exhausting for the kids (and the teachers!) with their field day in the middle of the week!  However, it was so worth the effort from the help of the 6th graders and Mr. Hathaway!  The kids enjoyed it so much and were participating together as a team through each activity.

This week we are returning back to our regularly scheduled program starting with PE on Monday and Friday morning.  We also have Hawaiian Studies on Tuesday.

Last week Friday was our last day to borrow Library Books.  All Library Books are due by May 6th to avoid paying a fee for your child's lost book.

Mahalo,
Mrs. Peltier
