Aloha Room 5 Families!
I hope you had a restful weekend! We are starting our week with Earth Day on Monday, April 22. Although Monday is Earth Day, our students will learn how to love and take care of their planet and learn the responsibilities of preserving our Earth!
We will have our last library visit this week as well. Please return any borrowed books to avoid an outstanding balance at the end of the school year.
On Thursday, April 25, we will be visiting the Alvah Scott School Store. Students will be able to spend their Scott Dollar earnings that they receive for displaying conscious efforts to follow their GLOs daily.

REMINDERS:
- IF you have not done so, please review, sign, and return report cards and student binders as soon as possible.
- We have PE on Thurs., Apr. 25. Please bring a bottle of water, protective clothing, (students will be out in the sun) and closed toed shoes.
- Library books are due Fri., Apr. 26 to avoid a late fee please return the books by then.
- Check Take-Home Folder Daily and remove important papers from the folder.
- Monthly Challenge sheet is optional, it is an extension of your child's learning.
- Make sure your child has sufficient funds in their meal account. Notifications and receipts will be administered as a reminder.
