Week of 9/11/23-9/15/23

Hello Room 11 Ohana!

Today is Grandparent's Day!  I hope all the Grandmas and Grandpas had a wonderful day!  Don't forget to give them the cards we made.  :)

 

Last week, Conference request forms and Zippy's fundraiser packets were passed out. Conference request forms are due on 9/13/23 and Zippy's fundraiser money is due on 9/19/23. Thank you so much for your support! 

 

This week, I will be sending home a YELLOW sign to place on your dash or hang from your window when you pick up your child at auto line. Please place it in your car so it is visible for us to see. It makes it much easier to get your child ready for you. I sent home a yellow sign earlier in the year...that is fine to use as well!  Thank you again for your support to help us make our auto line more efficient. 

 

We will be starting Hawaiian Studies next week!  We have a new Kumu, who will teach the children about the Hawaiian culture.  We had to make a few schedule changes to fit in Hawaiian Studies; thus, we will not be visiting the Library this week.  We will visit the library NEXT week, and then every other week after that.  

Please return your books by this Wednesday and I will hold them in the class until next week.
