I hope you all had a wonderful Veteran's Day weekend! Thank you to all those who have served or are serving our country. Time is sure flying by and the holiday season is quickly approaching! Please stay healthy! :)
Just a friendly reminder--please return your child's student portfolio if you have not done so already. Thank you!
We did it! Our school raised $2,000 for the American Heart Association! You still have until November 17th!
SPECIAL INCENTIVES:
Student raises $50 = slime 1 teacher
Student raises $100 = slime 2 teachers
Student raises $150 = slime 3 teachers
Student raises $200 = slime 4 teachers
1st Class Signed up gets extra PE
Class with most raised gets extra PE
Top School Fundraiser slimes all teacher
*This week, we will be starting the last week of Wonders Unit 2. I will be sending home a Unit 2 HIGH-FREQUENCY WORD LIST on Thursday for your child to study. I will be testing your child on these words on Tuesday, November 21st!

-NEW Spelling words this week.
-GoMath Chapter 6, start Chapter 7.
-Symbols of America (Social Studies)
-Thanksgiving (Comparing our lives with Pilgrim children)
-Map Skills
-P.E. this week: Wednesday, Nov. 15th. Please wear covered shoes.
Weekly Reminders:
-Please send a labeled water bottle with your child daily. It gets very hot in the day.
-Please check your child's Homework Folders and Planners (sign please) nightly. Bring these back to school daily.
-Thank you for placing your YELLOW name sign in your window as you are driving up to pick up your child. This greatly helps with pick up.
Looking Ahead:
-PE days for November: 1, 6, 9, 15, 20, 27
-Library on Monday, Nov. 20th. (Return books)
-Thanksgiving Holidays on Nov. 23 and 24.
-November Book-It is due by Nov.30th.
-December 8-Winter Wonderland Craft Fair (Cafeteria)...more info to follow.
