Mrs. J Kosaki » Week of 4/15/24-4/19/24

Week of 4/15/24-4/19/24

Hello Room 11 Ohana!
I hope you all kept dry this weekend. It was so nice to see many of you at our STEM night last Friday! I hope you had a great time creating your boat and your boat held a lot of gingerbread men!  Enjoy your free book!

Our Math Speed Drills are going great and the children love the challenge...they ask me every day if we can do a Speed Drill!  We will continue to do our Speed Drills on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  :) Repetition is the key to knowing their facts by heart.

Thank you for practicing your Take Home Reading Folders (THRF) nightly! The children are very excited about each "new" book they advance to!  Please be sure to bring your folders on Thursdays!

This week we will complete Unit 5 in our Wonders Reading program. I will be sending a list of Unit 5 High-Frequency words home on Thursday. Please practice and I will test your child on Tuesday, April 23rd.

*Please sign and return report card envelopes. Please return student portfolios by Tuesday. Thank you!

*Fieldtrip Permission Form due by April 22nd.

Let's have another wonderful week families!  Let's keep our lines of communication open as always.  Thank you so much for your support!
