Hello Room 11 Ohana,
This week is WINTER SPIRIT WEEK and the 100th Day of School! We have a busy but fun week ahead! Don't forget to show your spirit this week!
Monday: Wear Bright Colors and Sunglasses
Tuesday: Represent your favorite high school or college
Wednesday: It's the 100th Day of School! Wear something with 100 things or the number 100 on it
Thursday: Wear your favorite Disney outfit
Friday: Dress like you're 100 years old
Wednesday is the 100th Day of School! We will be doing several fun activities to celebrate our 100th day of the first grade! CONGRATULATIONS!
2nd Quarter report cards and student portfolios were sent home last Friday. Please sign the outer envelope and return it to school on Monday, January 22nd. You may keep the enclosed report card. Please return portfolios by Friday, January 26th. Don't forget to write a "happy note" for your child!
We are done with Wonders Unit 3! A Unit 3 high-frequency word list was sent home last week. I will be testing your child on these words on Thursday, January 25th!

-Wonders Unit 3 High-Frequency word test on Thursday
-P.E. this week: Tuesday, January 23rd and Friday, January 26th. Please wear covered shoes.
Weekly Reminders:
-Please send a labeled water bottle with your child daily. It gets very hot in the day.
-Please check your child's Homework Folders and Planners (sign please) nightly. Bring these back to school daily.
-Thank you for placing your YELLOW name sign in your window as you are driving up to pick up your child. This greatly helps with pick up.
