Mrs. J Kosaki » Week of 1/16/24-1/19/24

Week of 1/16/24-1/19/24

Hello Room 11 Ohana,
I hope you all had a wonderful Martin Luther King, Jr holiday, and will remember his message of equality and peace for all.

We have a busy few weeks ahead!  This week Wednesday (1/17/24), we will practice our school wide Evacuation Drill.  We will be walking to the Annex baseball field next to the fire station to carry out our drill. It is very important that our children know what to do if we ever need to leave the campus immediately. Please wear shoes on Wednesday. Thank you!

CONGRATULATIONS to our December Star Students: AZARIAH and CHASE!  Way to go boys!!!

Thank you boys, girl, parents for an outstanding attendance record for December!  Thank you so much for valuing the importance of education and sending your children to school every day....unless they are sick.  Our class won again in December for the best attendance out of the first grade!  GREAT JOB!  Let's get it again in January! The plaque is still hanging in our room!

This week we will be visiting our School Store!  Get your Scott Dollars ready!

Report cards and student portfolios will be sent home on Friday, January 19th.  Please keep the enclosed report card and sign/return the outer envelope.  Please return the portfolio by Friday, January 26th, and write a "happy note" on the front page for your child.

Let's have another wonderful week families!  Let's keep our lines of communication open as always.  Thank you so much for your support!
